Leadership Programmes
“I will try my best in all that I do!”
Here you can see a brief overview of all our programmes:
Ground Zero:
For year 7 students. Ground Zero focuses on helping young people identify and develop their skills and strengths, through fun challenges and activities designed to build confidence, self-esteem, leadership and relational skills. From team building, to communication, strategy, and task completion, participants will experience a range of activities, which culminate in an overnight camp experience. Ground Zero is run twice per year – in term 2 and 3.
Summit:
For year 8 students. Summit runs in school term 1. The focus is on further developing individuals’ skills and strengths as well as working as a group. Participants of Summit will experience a variety of individual and team challenges, finishing with a weekend camp and graduation evening.
Challenge:
For year 9, which runs during school term 4. Challenge focuses on responsibility, respect and team building through activities that require participants to step out of their comfort zone. As well as this, Challenge activities develop confidence, cooperation, leadership qualities and other essential life skills. Learning to trust each other and work together is compulsory, as all challenges and tasks require more than one person to complete.
